Lin & Cie.

Marie (sister-in-law) and I went into this store in the 6th arrondissement the other day. As the name suggests, linen is the theme. Rough-hewn, flaxen and garnished with the best colors. The store is full of little sacks and charming children's things. And French children's things set the standard.

Best of all French children's things is the turbulette, a wearable sack for them to sleep in. The French word 'turbulette' comes from 'turbulent,' as babies often are when they sleep. So this little sack holds them warm and compact inside.

And little kids' jewelry.

Ok, I just want to know what is in the burlap bags lined up? There are some really fun, unusual shops in Paris.
